Northern Foundry is a one-person workshop based in Calgary, Alberta — born out of cold winters and long gaming sessions.
Why I Started
My journey began with a frustration many hobbyists face: quality. I saw too many 3D-printed miniatures that were brittle, rough, or lacked detail. I knew the technology could do better if it was treated as a craft rather than a factory line.
I started printing to upgrade my own Pathfinder campaigns, but I fell in love with the process itself — the prototyping, the testing, and the satisfaction of a perfect print.
My Process
I specialize in FDM printing using premium grey PLA because it offers the perfect balance of durability for gameplay and surface quality for painting. Every item listed in this store is printed on machines I maintain personally.
Licensed Partner
I am a licensed partner for top designers like Fat Dragon Games because I believe their Dragonlock™ systems are the gold standard for modular terrain. Also licensed with Corvus Games Terrain and EC3D Designs.
